25G technology is making a splash at DesignCon 2014. You can see it live in real world 100G system demos in TI’s partner booths: FCI’s booth #403 and TE Connectivity booth #607. Designed to tame the explosion of global IP traffic, TI’s 25G retimers address the need for higher bandwidth interconnect solutions capable of driving high-speed signals and consuming low power over optical fiber and copper cables used with high-speed enterprise servers, routers and switches.
Come see TI’s quad-channel 25G retimers drive signals through TE Connectivity’s STRADA Whisper connectors and demonstrate interoperability with Altera’s Stratix V FPGA 25G/28G transceivers in three 100G system demo configurations. You’ll also see TI’s retimers with FCI’s ExaMAX connectors and Xilinx Virtex-7 FPGA 25G/28G transceivers. At 100 Gbps, signal integrity requirements become more stringent for interconnects and backplane applications. TI addresses this need with long reach, low power retimers that combat signal impairments caused by insertion loss, jitter, reflections and crosstalk.
